Michigan Living

Machinist

Experienced, skilled machinist familiar with Haas CNC machining centers, CNC Bridgeport mill, lathes and common shop equipment.  Must have demonstrated knowledge in reading engineering prints, programing CNC equipment and maintaining scheduled production requirements.

Manage producing and modifying parts to meet the engineering drawings for prototype and low volume production needs.  Ability to manage others to assist production requirements.

CAD Designer

Prefer two plus years of working experience using SolidWorks modeling, detailing parts and sub-assemblies from CAD models.  Knowledge of Bills of Materials and creating assembly manuals is necessary. A background in performing mechanical repairs and the use of shop tools and equipment is desired.

Good communication skills including Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel and Outlook are required.  You must be familiar working as a team member and have a willingness to develop and improve the unique window, door and open-air assemblies DTS Marine designs and builds for luxury yacht builders.

Engineering Manager

Opening for a seasoned experienced design manager with a high-level of SolidWorks design background capable of conceptualizing and developing mechanical solutions for our line of unique window, door and open-air assemblies for luxury yacht builders.  These are complex electro-mechanical assemblies that must perform under the harsh environment of open water boating.

A knowledge of automotive body hardware components such as power windows, hatches, doors including hinge mechanisms, sealing and latching would greatly assist in our marine applications.

Must have the desire and ability to build and maintain an engineering team, working daily with internal and outside partners to create and provide class leading products.  Strong leadership and communication skills are required to interface with other team members and our clients.
